You know I really don't want to pick on the man's mannerisms or his wife's cosmetic disasters but has anyone else noticed that John McCain cannot turn his head to the left or to the right? His whole body has to move in the direction of the where he wants to direct his speech.You would think by now that he would want to project a more youthful (not possible) appearance considering he is running against someone who looks old enough to be his son. Combine his appearance with his "old world" philosophies and he really has a great losing combination.
Last one out turn out the lights on the old guy so he can go back to sleep...........

Not to really defend the guy because he IS old as dirt but it's my understanding that the stiffness is due to injuries from his crash and POW days.
ok......he could at least compensate by removing his jacket and tie......and look a little more relaxed. He needs a little coaching in regards to his relationship with the audience. This may be why Obama is so popular......his charm and liquidity with the crowds is amazingJ
Plus...he looks like Darth Vader unmasked.
Personally, I think he shouldn't try to look or act young. Older people who do this end up looking silly. What he should do is try to come off as the older guy with common sense and wisdom. Instead, he has that stupid fake smile of a weasel. I wish he'd stop smiling. I'd rather see those kernels on an ear of corn.
I couldn't stand Reagan but if you look at clips of Reagan in 1980, he had this vitality that didn't come from trying to act or look younger. It came from being comfortable with his age.
I have to agree with you about Reagan. He had a charismatic charm about him that allowed I think was easy to rally behind even though his policies fell flat. McCain is no Reagan.
